The Root of Healing
My journey into the healing arts was not born from mere curiosity. I struggled through my childhood with a body that could not tolerate conventional food. This caused me to look deeper – and I found my medicine in nature.
I spent years traveling all over Southeast Asia, following the rhythm of my heart. I embraced this beautifully simple and adventurous lifestyle, thereby nurturing my creative spirit. I crafted jewelry from raw gemstones and silver for my living. During this time I spent in the sunshine, nourishing myself with fresh, living foods, I gained an understanding of the prime importance of nutrition.
For years I trained therapists and estheticians all over Norway. I taught them how the skin acts as a signaling system that gives us an immediate indication of the body’s internal state. Understanding how eating these amazing healing plants can benefit the skin and soothe many skin conditions. I became one of the early pioneers of superfoods in Norway.
The true turning point struck in 2012. That was when I was introduced to a small, obscure skincare brand. Holding their small brown bottles felt like I was holding a little treasure.
Following my intuition I decided to travel across the world to the tribal highlands of Colorado. Soaring in a tiny, wind-buffeted six-seater aircraft over the snowclad San Juan Mountains – known to the region’s Indigenous peoples as the Shining Mountains – I finally touched down at a remote airfield outside Montrose. As I stepped out of the plane, the sound of distant drumming echoed through the mountain air. It was a wild sound that made me feel instantly at home.
Deep within this wilderness, I met Bunnie Gulick. She was the master nutritionist and alchemist behind the elixirs I had been introduced to back home in Oslo. It was instant recognition – a merging of minds, souls, and shared vision. We discussed quantum healing, and the frequencies of living plants. We felt as though we had known each other for a lifetime.

For over 10 years, I fully immersed myself in Bunnie’s brand. In 2023, as Bunnie prepared to sell her life’s work to a new owner – intent on scaling for the international commercial spa market. I wanted to continue on the same path – by bringing to life the small, independent label that Bunnie and I had been discussing from the very beginning. As a gift to me, Bunnie used her insight to create a truly unique skincare collection. From our beautiful collaboration, INDII was born – and exciting new formulas are already on the horizon – working with nature implies that we need to be in a constant process of change and renewal.
INDII is not just a beautiful name; it holds a little secret. Sounding like the Latin “in die” – meaning “into the day” or “into the light” – it serves as a gentle invitation to awaken.

Our products are made with cold-processing techniques. This helps maintain peak activity with high nutrient and energy values. Plant electrons undamaged by heat or chemicals are more in harmony with our skin and bodies.
We make our herb oil and extracts to insure their integrity and aliveness. They are especially abundant with high nutrient values and lively energy.
The herbs infused into our oil blends are kept at a low temperature of 90°-95°F for 14-30 days. This allows the active constituents to diffuse into the oil without damaging the properties of the herbs offering the greatest benefits to skin.
